Description

April Chapter Meeting

Presented by the Health, Wellness, & Sustainability Committee

An Evening with Metropolis Editor-in-Chief Avinash Rajagopal on Interior Design’s Impact on Climate Change with ASID NY Metro + IIDA New York. In collaboration with Rebecca Best, VP Sustainability, Material Bank® and the ASID NY Metro Health, Wellness & Sustainability Committee.

Recent research indicates that interior designers have a big role to play in the building industry's fight against climate change, in addition to keeping people healthy and safe. Metropolis editor in chief Avinash Rajagopal will speak about initiatives to help interior design professionals lower the carbon emissions of their projects and make a positive impact through their work. By understanding, assessing, and addressing the climate, health, and equity impacts of interior design, we can help shape a better future for us all.

At this special Chapter Meeting and Health, Wellness & Sustainability event join the leadership of ASID NY Metro and IIDA NY in the signing of Metropolis’ Interior Design Pledge for Positive Impact.  Learn how you too can sign the pledge.
