Higher Education Courses
ASID accepts courses in interior design taken at colleges or university programs accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA). ASID will approve .1 CEU (1 hour) per credit hour.
The coursework cannot be taken for college credit towards a degree program.
Courses by other providers
Completed programs offered by other providers must be submitted to ASID for review prior to receiving credit. Once a program has been taken, complete the ASID Self-Reporting Submission Form and submit payment of $25 USD via email to education@asid.org, fax to the ASID Education Team at 202-546-3240 or mail to ASID headquarters.
If the course is approved, you will receive confirmation within approximately 20 business days of receipt. If the course is not approved, you will also be notified. Approval is based on information received and reviewed and is valid toward your ASID education membership requirement. All such decisions are final.
