Pratt Institute Student Chapter

2025-2026 Academic Year Executive Board

Gwendolyn He

President

As President of the ASID Pratt Chapter, my focus is to amplify the voice of Pratt’s interior design students and showcase the energy, talent, and perspectives we contribute to the wider design dialogue. What really keeps me inspired is the opportunity to grow alongside my peers and foster a culture of engagement, curiosity, and shared momentum. Together as a board, we will work toward launching critical events that will open up new conversations, encourage collaboration, and bring together students and professionals across disciplines, institutions, and design interests.

Anjali Dave

Vice President

As Vice President of the ASID Pratt Chapter, I’m committed to supporting the board and our members through collaborative leadership, strategic planning, and a focus on inclusivity and stepping in for the President when needed. My role involves helping shape the direction of our chapter’s programming, strengthening partnerships across departments, and ensuring that student voices are centered in our initiatives. I’m excited to contribute to a community that encourages critical thinking, creative risk-taking, and meaningful connection within and beyond the design school.

Skyler Miranda

Treasurer

As the Treasurer of the ASID Pratt Chapter, I support the executive board by managing our chapter’s funds, providing budget updates at meetings, and ensuring our funds are used responsibly. I also help create budget plans for events and lead our fundraising efforts for member resources, advocacy, and networking opportunities to help members advance their careers and contribute to the field of interior design.

Amy Liu

Program Coordinator

As an Industrial Design major with a minor in Interior Design, I’m excited to serve as the event and finance coordinator for the ASID chapter at Pratt Institute. I believe that design is inherently interdisciplinary, every creative voice brings unique perspectives and skills that, when brought together, spark truly innovative solutions. My goal in this role is to facilitate dynamic conversations, create inclusive spaces for open-minded exchange, and build meaningful connections across disciplines. By bridging different areas of design, I hope to foster a community where collaboration drives forward-thinking ideas and transformative experiences.

Aliza Mirza

Public Relations

As an interior design student at Pratt, I also serve on the board of the ASID Pratt Chapter. A big part of my role involves shaping how we show up visually. I handle our branding, design event posters, curate our online presence, and document events

through photography and video. I am also involved in helping plan events and finding ways to build real connections between students and the broader design community. What drives me is the idea of design as storytelling, not just in spaces, but in how we communicate, gather, and share what we’re building together.

Shreya Singhal

Secretary

As an architecture student, I see interior design and architecture as a merged discipline, both shaping how we experience space. It’s always nice to meet and get inspired by more designers from different backgrounds, and I’m excited to be part of a community that values that exchange. As Secretary, I hope to support the chapter through clear communication, thoughtful coordination, and by helping create an inclusive, creative environment where ideas can be shared openly.
