Committee Statement and Goals:

The ASID NY Metro Events Committee is fully committed to delivering impactful programming to the ASID NY Metro member community and a wider audience. Our primary focus is to curate enriching networking events, engaging CEUs, and various educational opportunities tailored to our members. Through these efforts, we wholeheartedly uphold the core mission of ASID NY Metro: to educate, empower, and elevate the vibrant interior design community of the New York Metro area.

Members of this committee play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the chapter's annual calendar of events, comprising of monthly chapter meetings and more primarily attended "featured" events. Our informative monthly programs serve as a dynamic platform for fostering connections among members while also introducing external contacts and valuable resources to augment their learning and expertise.

As a valued committee member, you will actively contribute to selecting forthcoming discussion topics and thought-provoking leaders. Moreover, your participation will extend to coordinating logistical arrangements, ensuring smooth event execution, and orchestrating gatherings that resonate with our members and the NYC design community.

Industry Partner Event Interest Form

Annual chapter events include but are not limited to the Summer Social, Annual General Meeting, Holiday Party, and the Design Awards. The NY Metro Chapter actively participates in various community service initiatives, such as collaborating with the Ronald McDonald House and organizing the Designing Hope Gala & Fundraiser. Beyond these highlights, we proudly present the annual CEU Summit, a platform and resource for continuous learning, and the Equity in Diversity Summit, fostering inclusivity and collaboration in our local and national design communities.

Events hosted by our chapter’s Health, Wellness and Sustainability Committee, Emerging Professionals group, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee are integrated within our monthly events calendar. Please check our monthly e-newsletter for all current and upcoming events.
