Join ASID NY Metro and ASID Connecticut for an inspiring tour of the beautiful buildings, grounds, and exhibitions at Grace Farms, followed by lunch in The Commons. Afterward, Elizabeth Rapuano, CCO of Grace Farms Foundation will lead a Design for Freedom CEU session that sheds light on the widespread issue of forced and child labor within the building materials supply chain. As the built environment continues to heavily rely on unethical labor practices, this session will explore the risks posed by this humanitarian crisis and highlight ways you can take action to foster greater transparency in the industry. You’ll also discover tools and resources to advocate for a more humane future.
Attendees will receive a 2.5 CEU Certificate of Completion (AIA) that can be self-reported to IDCEC. Following the session, you're welcome to further explore the grounds or find a peaceful spot (there are plenty!) to relax or get some work done.
