April Chapter Meeting

Celebrating the Art of Outdoor Living with Oasiq + VIP Tour of Industry City

Amidst the bustling charm of Brooklyn's Industry City Design District, on April 9th, attendees gathered to celebrate the art of outdoor living with OASIQ. Nestled just two stops away from Manhattan, the event offered a captivating blend of high design, history, exploration and shopping!

Managing Director of Oasiq Tony Peng shared details about OASIQ's vast array of designs, which showcase unparalleled customization options, a commitment to sustainability through the use of pure materials like plantation teak, and exceptional craftsmanship.

The evening unfolded with a VIP guided tour of the dynamic Industry City neighborhood led by the Industry City and Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce leadership, from its storied past as a maritime port in the 1800s to its vibrant present as a hub of design, commerce, culture, and culinary innovation. Participants were enthralled by the historical richness and modern vibrancy of the area, gaining insights into its evolution and significance.

A highlight of the tour was a visit to Brooklyn Made, a charming boutique brimming with products embodying the essence of artistry, authenticity, and the spirited ethos of Brooklyn. Each attendee was treated to a Brooklyn Made goodie bag, and two lucky attendees won  $100 gift cards to further shop until they dropped. Additionally, guests received vouchers for a complimentary drink at the nearby Fort Hamilton Distillery, extending the evening's delights.

The event was a testament to the fusion of craftsmanship, innovation, and cultural exploration, encapsulating the essence of outdoor living with OASIQ amidst the vibrant backdrop of Industry City and Brooklyn's spirited charm. A big thank you to our hosts and local businesses for their exceptional hospitality.
