Cielo Cortes is an interior designer and Principal at DesignGLXY Group. Her work is defined by a human-centered approach that blends technical precision, global perspective, and a warm sense of rhythm shaped by her Colombian heritage. 

Her experience spans hospitality, residential, multi-family, and full-home renovation projects, reflecting her commitment to creating spaces that feel intentional, grounded, and alive. 

A graduate of the New York School of Interior Design, cum laude, Cielo was the recipient of the Gensler Brinkmann Scholarship and the Ana Blank Verna Award for Design Excellence.

As Chair of Emerging Professionals for the ASID New York Metro Chapter, Cielo is dedicated to mentorship, community-building, and empowering the next generation of designers as they enter and evolve within the profession.
