In 2023, Grace Dowd made the decision to leave the nonprofit fundraising world to launch her career in interior design. After over ten years of working for numerous New York institutions such as Tenement Museum and International Center of Photography, she was determined to pursue a career that focuses on art, creativity, and people. 

Currently seeking her Associate in Applied Science from New York School of Interior Design, Grace deeply values the educational experience and the powerful future it will provide in the design industry. Sustainable design and a focus on inclusion shape Grace’s work. She is eager to incorporate her fellow students into ASID to expand their opportunities and future.
