Susan K. Tully, ASID, is an interior designer with a portfolio of private and multi-family residences in northern New Jersey, New York City, Westchester County, and the Washington DC area. She has also worked on several luxury hotels in the DC area and Boston. She will be an adjunct professor at the New York School of Interior Design in 2026 and was an adjunct professor at Marymount University for nine years. Her work as an interior designer draws up on skills she developed during an extensive career at the U.S. Department of State as a writer, editor, researcher, diplomat, and filmmaker.
Susan was the Communications Director and Finance Director for ASID's Washington Metro Chapter and received several Presidential Citation awards. She served on the Historic Preservation Committee in Rutherford, NJ. Susan earned her M.A. in Interior Design from Marymount University, a B.S.F.S. from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, and an M.A. in History from The Ohio State University. She is NCIDQ and WELL AP certified.
