An Unforgettable VIP Tour of Grand Central Station

The ASID NY Metro chapter recently hosted an exclusive VIP tour of New York's iconic Grand Central Station, a venture that proved to be a grand success. The tour, meticulously organized by Joan Ravasy, opened an illuminating window into the historic station's architectural grandeur and its fascinating backstory.

One of the tour's highlights was the privileged access to the prestigious Campbell Apartment. Once the private office and salon of business tycoon John W. Campbell, this hidden gem of Grand Central charmed our members with its Jazz Age glamour and historic ambiance. The chance to glimpse into this often-unseen piece of New York history was truly a memorable experience.

Following the captivating tour, attendees were whisked off to the Grande Central Showroom in the D&D Building for an Italian feast. Eataly, renowned for its authentic Italian cuisine, catered a prosecco and panini party that delighted the senses. Amid the stylish setting of the showroom, our members reveled in culinary delights, engaging conversation, and professional camaraderie.

Reflecting on the success of this exclusive event, we are reminded of the value of unique experiences and the power of community within our ASID NY Metro membership. Here's to the continued exploration of our city's architectural wonders and many more unforgettable member events!
