CANDIDATE STATEMENT:
I am honored to be the incoming Membership Director for ASID NY Metro. Being a part of the Board this past year as Student Representative has been such an educational experience, as well as a treasured part of my design journey. As a career changer, I've longed for a community of like-minded and supportive individuals. ASID has been exactly what I've been looking for.
I think being involved in the industry and being involved in ASID are synonymous. It just makes sense to be a member and take advantage of all of the resources available to us. As Membership Director, I will continue to foster a supportive and exciting environment for new and prospective members while strengthening the relationship with long-term members. I think this can be done with more personal outreach as well as finding ways our members can share their thoughts more easily.
